The Uncut Network is where real stories meet real storytelling. We create original, documentary-style episodes that dig deep into the worlds of true crime, history, lifestyle, and human behaviour.

Who are we?

After years of producing award-winning documentaries for television, we decided to take our storytelling straight to digital audiences. The goal? To make high-quality, factually driven content available to everyone.

Each of our channels brings its own voice and focus:

True Crime Uncut takes viewers inside some of the most compelling true crime stories… from infamous serial killers and unsolved mysteries to major forensic breakthroughs. Expect real interrogation footage, expert insights, and rarely seen archive material… all delivered with the depth and integrity of a classic Woodcut production.

Underworld Uncut dives into the murky world of organised crime, prisons and heists. This channel combines insider accounts, rare interviews, and sharp investigative storytelling to reveal the inner workings of the criminal underworld.

History Uncut takes a fresh look at the past. From dramatic turning points to the quietly extraordinary, it is history told the way it should be: raw, human, and unfiltered.

Essentially Uncut explores the lighter side of life — a lifestyle channel that takes deep dives into our favourite hobbies and pastimes. Whether it’s exploring the culture around everyday passions or uncovering surprising stories behind familiar interests, it’s thoughtful, engaging, and always a little unexpected.

True Crime Uncut Podcasts keep the conversation going. This spin-off channel features in-house podcasts hosted by the Woodcut team, sharing behind-the-scenes insights, production stories, and honest reflections on the craft of true crime storytelling.

Together, these channels form The Uncut Network… a premium YouTube destination for factual storytelling that doesn’t do clickbait, shortcuts, or surface-level content. Just compelling, honest, well-crafted documentarie… told the Woodcut way.

Our History

The Uncut journey began in towards the end of 2024, when the first channel was announced as part of Woodcut Media’s expansion into digital.

The idea was simple: bring our storytelling expertise directly to viewers and build a sustainable, long-term audience through quality content.

During the course of 2025 we launched the five channels and now supply original content across the network every week super serving our loyal subscribers.

All five channels were built on an independent funding model Woodcut editorial freedom. As a founder member of the Association of True Crime Producers it’s important for The Uncut Network to maintain its high ethical standards and integrity.

That independence is what makes The Uncut Network truly “Uncut”.
