But while Ronnie and Reggie Kray became household names, Nemone's own life took an equally dramatic turn when her marriage to a convicted murderer forced her to leave the Bar.

Unable to represent the Krays at their 1969 murder trial despite their wishes, Nemone later watched the proceedings unfold and gives her own legal assessment of the case. Her connection with Ronnie continued for decades, with visits to him at Broadmoor and further requests for her legal expertise.
